About Us
With over 1000 members, the Zicklin Graduate Accounting Society (ZGAS) is the largest graduate professional club at Baruch. Last year, over 1,900 students attended our events. Since our founding, we have helped launch thousands of successful accounting careers. We also provide a stimulating environment where students can learn more about the accounting profession, both from each other and from distinguished guest speakers.
ZGAS Helps Students Find Jobs
ZGAS co-sponsors information sessions with each of the Big Four accounting firms, as well as with many large and mid-size accounting firms. Our annual mid-size accounting career fairs and corporate accounting panels are extremely popular and well-regarded.
While applying for a job or a summer internship can be a daunting, ZGAS stands behind its members every step of the way. We pride ourselves on giving Baruch students every opportunity to succeed. Some of the free services that we organize or co-sponsor include mentoring, mock interviews and résumé critiques.

ZGAS Enriches the Student Experience
Finding a job is important, but ZGAS strives to go far beyond that. By bringing distinguished speakers to campus, and serving as a meeting place for students with a desire to succeed in accounting, ZGAS members keep on top of issues that affect the accounting industry and business in general.Baruch offers one of the most distinguished accounting programs in the country. Concentrated in the heart of New York City, it is no surprise that the alumni network is second-to-none. When they join ZGAS, Baurch students take a big step towards taking full advantage of the enormous resources at their disposal. Our distinguished guest speakers offer an excellent, real world complement to the Baruch academic experience.
We promise that you will meet bright, career-minded individuals with a healthy perspective on the work/life/study balance. Anyone with a strong work ethic will find a warm welcome at ZGAS. In fact, we epitomize diversity. Our 13-member executive board features an astounding array of nationalities, including the United States, India, Korea, Ukraine, New Zealand, Japan, Romania, Oman and Ecuador.
